Caring for my Parents, Raising my children: The New Generation of family.

Families With Faith, the BlogTalkRadio show of, aired "Caring for my Parents, Raising my Children" on Saturday August 14th, at 6pm. Together, the ladies tackled this week’s ‘Real-talk’ discussion, "The New Generation of family. Supporting the Special Needs of Three Generational Households." And the Hot Topic: "What happened to the widows? Displaying the Heart of Christ by caring for the widows and widowers."

Families with Faith is pleased to have had Jane Allison Austin, Attorney and Elder Advocate as this week's special guest. Jane Allison Austin is a devout Christian, an attorney and elder care advocate. She is also the founder of and began the site in response to her own care of her elderly mother. It is only her faith that helped her get through the difficult time. The site, which often quotes encouraging scripture, chronicles her emotional changes as well as provided tips for those who were going through the same experience. Since her mother's passing Jane Allison has made it her mission in life to help others create the tools they need to embrace taking care of your elderly parents without being taken advantage of and encourages others to rely on the Lord in difficult times.
